About The Role
This is a courtroom seat. You will carry cyber-crime and criminal matters from the first client call through complaint, bail and trial, appearing before the District Courts at Lucknow and assisting at the Lucknow Bench, with the founder in the room and on the file.
The work is technical: electronic evidence, bank escalations, platform takedowns and the procedure of the BNSS. If that sounds like the practice you want to build, read on.
What You'll Do
- Handle a caseload of cyber-fraud, online-harassment and criminal matters under supervision.
- Draft complaints, bail applications, quashing petitions, replies and written arguments.
- Appear before Magistrates and Sessions Judges; assist in High Court matters.
- Manage bank and platform escalations for cyber-fraud clients and keep the timeline record.
- Communicate directly with clients, with plain-language updates after every hearing.
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge-sharing articles on cyber and data-protection law.
Who You Are
- Enrolled with a State Bar Council, with two to four years of litigation experience in Uttar Pradesh.
- Comfortable on your feet in a Magistrate's court and precise on paper.
- Curious about how electronic evidence, banking systems and the IT Act fit together.
- Empathetic with clients in distress; unflustered with opposing counsel.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
About The Team
You will work directly with the founder, who argues the matters you prepare, and with an associate on the civil side.
There is no wall of juniors. Everyone attends the same client meetings and reads the same files.
We debrief every hearing and we go home at a reasonable hour on non-hearing days.
